Mikel Arteta will have to decide whether to start William Saliba, who is only set to return to training for a short period after the World Cup final but should be fresh having played only 27 minutes for France in Qatar.

Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin) are out while Reiss Nelson is a doubt after going off against Juventus with an apparent hamstring injury. There are also question marks over Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (hamstring).

West Ham are likely to be without Nayef Aguerd after he injured his thigh at the World Cup.
