From Khloe Kardashian and Rebel Wilson’s surprise babies to the long-awaited arrival of an AFL star’s bub, here’s a look at all the celebrity babies welcomed in 2022.
Beck Zemek and Ben Michell
Former Married at First Sight star, Beck Zemek welcomed her first child, a daughter called Immy, in May.
The reality star shared her pregnancy journey with her fans after she announced she was expecting in December 2021.
Zemek revealed she had been in labour for more than 16 hours.
Nat Medhurst and Sam Butler
Former Australian national team netballer Nat Medhurst welcomed a baby girl with her partner, former West Coast Eagle Sam Butler.
The couple, who already have a one-year-old son named Edison, shared the exciting news on Instagram back in April.
Alongside a picture of their newborn’s little feet, Medhurst announced she had welcomed a girl on April 11.
“One week of loving you, our beautiful little girl. Family life just got a whole lot better … and a lot more hectic but we’re trying to ignore that part,” she wrote.
They announced in October last year they were expecting their second child.
Cynthia Lu and Yusuf Khan
Perth’s answer to the Kardashians, Yusuf Khan and Cynthia Lu Khan aka The Khans welcomed their daughter Luna in July.
The couple announced the safe arrival of their bub on Instagram.
The glamour pair have since given their daughter a front-row seat to their luxury life which included a miniature Louis Vuitton handbag as well as a trip overseas.
Joel Hamling and Lily Pittard
Dockers player Joel Hamling and his partner Lily Pittard welcomed their son Henry James Hamling in August.
The couple announced the safe arrival of their son on social media and the post was flooded with comments of congratulations to the happy couple, who announced they were expecting in March.
“Congratulations brother ❤️,” wrote St Kilda player Bradley Hill.
“Congrats my guy!” said Western Bulldogs player Hayden Crozier.
Andrew Embley and Caitlyn Fogarty-Embley
Former Eagles star Andrew Embley and his wife Caitlyn Fogarty-Embley welcomed their first child together in August.
In a sweet Instagram post, the former AFL player announced his daughter’s name Francesca Anne Embley, along with a snap of the newborn bub.
The couple tied the knot in February 2021, with Embez announcing they were expecting during his Triple M radio show in April.
Brittany Bown and Nic Naitanui
Brittany Bown and Nic Naitanui welcomed their son Ezekiel in October.
The couple had fans on the edge of their seats waiting for clues after Brittnay had revealed she had passed her due date during a column with STM.
They exclusively revealed the news to The West Australian. They also announced they had gotten engaged during their babymoon in Broome ahead of the birth.
Since the arrival of baby Ezekiel, the pair have shared several photos of their son including him celebrating his first Christmas with Santa.

Brittany’s bestie Aymee Reeden welcomed her third baby with Eagles hubby Jack Redden in October.
Like Brittany, Aymee was overdue when she finally welcomed her bub.

Dockers star Travis Colyer and his wife Eloise welcomed their son Charlie in September.
They announced in May that they were expecting their first child.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky almost broke the internet when they revealed in January that they were expecting a baby together.
RiRi’s maternity style journey was one for the books, as the singer redefined pregnancy fashion.
The couple welcomed their son in May but his name has not yet been revealed.

Australian influencer Tammy Hembrow welcomed her third child in June.
The fitness guru and her then-partner Matt Poole welcomed their daughter Posy.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of rumours surrounding the status of her relationship around the time she gave birth.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson
Khloe shocked fans when it was leaked to the media that she and her former partner Tristan Thompson were expecting their second baby.
The news broke the same day that it was revealed her sister Kim Kardashian had split with Pete Davidson.

The exciting news was revealed as the birth unfolded live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, which is where it was confirmed that Sandilands, 51, cut the umbilical cord.
Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn
The notoriously private singer revealed he and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, welcomed their second child in March.
He revealed the news on Instagram.

Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez welcomed twins in April but sadly only one baby survived.
The couple made the heartbreaking announcement in a joint statement soon after the birth.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” they said in a joint statement at the time.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
Australian comedian Rebel Wilson shocked her fans when she revealed that she had welcomed her first child, Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson, via surrogate in November.
The Pitch Perfect star hadn’t given any hints that she was expecting which made the announcement an absolute surprise.
Her daughter’s middle name comes from both her and Queen Elizabeth.

Shanina Shaik revealed she was pregnant following Coachella, with the Australian model showing off her son, Zai, on social media in September.
Shaik’s mum spilled the beans that the former Victoria’s Secret star had given birth before Shaik got the chance to tell the public.
She and her boyfriend Matthew Adesuyan began dating in 2019.
Social media star Trisha Paytas found herself in the middle of an internet firestorm when it was revealed she was going into labour.
Rumours began circulating that Paytas had gone into labour at the same time the Queen was dying but that was later found not to be true.
She gave birth on September 14 and revealed her daughter’s name is Malibu Barbie.
