OPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2022: Age Limit (as on January 1, 2023)

Not Earlier than 2nd January 1984 and not later that 1st January 2001.
Provided that the upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxed by five years for candidates belonging to the categories of Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Scheduled Caste (S.C.), Scheduled Tribe (S.T.), Women & Ex-Servicemen and ten years for persons with disabilities whose permanent disability is forty per cent and more.
A candidate must:-
i) have possessed MBBS or equivalent degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India,
ii) have possessed a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules.
iii) have possessed the required Conversion Certificates recognised by the Medical Council of India in case of candidates having degrees from Universities of Foreign Countries.
Method of selection
i) The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officers will be made on the basis of a written test.
ii) The written examination will comprise one paper carrying 200 marks.
iii) There will be 200 questions carrying one mark for each of the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) pattern.
iv) The duration of the examination will be three hours.
v) There will be no Negative Marking for wrong answers.
